Riders back on ground after being trapped on Sea World's Sky Tower

After being stuck in the air for nearly two hours, riders on Sea World's Sky Tower attraction were lowered safely back to the ground.
An undetermined number of riders became stuck Monday when the attraction stopped moving.
In a statement, Sea World said it was "working closely with Orange County Fire and Rescue to quickly and safely remove all guests from the ride.
“We are in constant communication with the guests and team members on the ride and all passengers are safe.”
Riders were back on the ground by about 3:20 p.m.
The number of guests and Sea World employees trapped on the ride was not immediately released.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Sea World did not immediately release the cause of the ride failure.
