An Indianapolis restaurant is taking crime prevention into its own hands.
Papa Roux was robbed recently, the first time since it opened eight years ago.
Now the owner, Art Bouvier, has come up with a way to tell criminals that he won't deal with crime.
Bouvier is offering a 25 percent discount to customers who show a concealed carry permit when they dine in, The Indianapolis Star reported.
He offered the discount on his personal Facebook page.
No one was hurt in the robbery and Bouvier said patrons did not know that it happened until the robber left.
"We're not saying, 'Show us your gun.' But if you're a legal and stable carrier of a concealed carry license, I'm going to reward that," Bouvier said.
