Buffalo Bills running back and former University of Pittsburgh standout LeSean McCoy was involved in an incident involving multiple off-duty police officers, according to a report.
The report said McCoy and a friend, former NFL running back Curtis Brinkley, allegedly got into the altercation over a purchase of champagne around 2:45 a.m. Sunday.
The off-duty officers allegedly suffered broken ribs and were hospitalized, according to the report.
McCoy’s team, the Buffalo Bills, said this in a statement:
It has been reported that McCoy was investigated for assault. No arrests have been made.
