Puppy survives after snatched up by hungry owl looking for quick meal
A puppy in Scottsdale, Arizona, survived quite the traumatic ordeal after he was snatched up by a hungry owl looking for a quick meal.
The incident happened while the shelter puppy, named Latte, was in the care of a foster family, according to KNXV-TV.
When the family let four puppies out for a potty break Friday morning, only three returned from the side of the house.
The puppy was found at Troon Golf Course with puncture wounds from the owl's talons, Foothills Animal Rescue said. https://t.co/2ygF6PUJcm

The family immediately posted a missing puppy ad online and went out in search of the dog.
Golfers at a nearby course discovered the injured dog under a tree on the 16th hole about 12 hours later, KNXV reported. They took him to a local vet where he's making a recovery.
The vet said the puppy did not have any broken bones, but he did have puncture wounds in his head that the doctor said were from an owl’s talons during the attack.
