Public asked to attend funeral for Florida veteran with no family

Sept 30, 2019The public is asked to attend the funeral service for a Florida veteran who had no immediate family.
Edward K. Pearson, 80, of Naples, died Aug. 31, according to his obituary.
“This veteran has no immediate family (and) all are welcome to attend,” the obituary reads.
The internment, with military honors, is at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
