In addition to the cover shot, there is an extensive article that focuses on the "devastating impact of homophobic, biphobic, and transphobic bullying and the consequent impact on the mental health of LGBT people," BuzzFeed reported. The issue will be released just four days after 49 people were killed in an LGBT nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

"No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives," the duke of Cambridge told the magazine. "The young gay, lesbian and transgender individuals I met through Attitude are truly brave to speak out and to give hope to people who are going through terrible bullying right now. Their sense of strength and optimism should give us all encouragement to stand up to bullying wherever we see it."

Prince William also met with nine members of the LGBT community, including Paris Lees, a transgender activist and journalist in Britain, who was proud that she had Prince William speaking up for her community. “Like many LGBT people I grew up in a society and household that made me feel ashamed to be me. I’m proud we spoke to the future king and that he has spoken up for the community. It sends a strong message around the world that everyone deserves to be treated with basic human dignity,” she said.
