Quick Facts:

- Two men walked across street and fired gunshots
- Victim was 5 months pregnant
Tedra Paige, 19, had been waiting at a bus stop with her boyfriend and cousin at about 1:45 a.m. Friday when they noticed two men slowly crossing the street.
“We were standing there talking and her baby’s dad was like, ‘Who’s that walking all slow across the street,’ and we all looked -- we've been shot. I fell down and Tedra fell on top of me, and she said, ‘I’m hit! I’m hit!’” said Paige's cousin, Kaliyah Farris.
The shooters ran away before they could get a good look.
"Nobody knows. They had on masks, they ran up did this, and shot, with both sets of guns," said Paige's mother-in-law, Calvina Wright. "[The shooters] need some help. You will have to answer to God for this. You took someone's child."
They rushed Paige to the hospital, but pulled over at a gas station so paramedics could take her the rest of the way to Harborview Medical Center.
Farris said Paige has one child and was five months pregnant when she was shot. Wright later said she lost her baby.
A K-9 officer attempted to track the men where officers recovered spent shell casings. Gang and homicide detectives will help with the ongoing investigation.
Paige also has a 2-year-old child.
