Pregnant Marine's body may have been found

On Saturday Onslow County Sheriff Ed Brown announced the recovery of the remains of an adult female and fetus believed to be pregnant Marine Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach. Brown used his fist to show how the fist of the fetus was clasped and also said that the fist, found burned off in the abdomen region of the female, was about the size of his thumb.

Friends of Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach and her family are greeted with hugs at the Lauterbach family home in Vandalia, Ohio.

Marine Cpl. Cesar Armando Laurean reportedly gave his wife a note that said Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach cut her own throat.
