The video was posted Friday by resident Javier Gonzalez, whose surveillance camera captured the incident. In the video, a gray pickup truck appears to drive toward three people who are running away from it. The truck appears to accelerate, jump a curb and drive straight into the pedestrians. The truck then drives away.

Police haven't released the identities of the three people in the video or their conditions, The Oregonian reported. No one has tried to contact police about the incident, said Sgt. Brad Yakots, of the Portland police.

Police are trying to identify the driver of the truck, and are asking residents to be on the lookout for a gray pickup truck with a canopy, Yakots said.

Gonzalez told KPTV-TV he returned home Thursday to find things in his front yard out of place. Curious as to what happened, he reviewed the surveillance video, and was shocked by what he saw.

“It looked like, you know, he might’ve had a vendetta or something, and it’s not worth it,” Gonzalez said. “Even if someone does something to you, it’s never worth it to go after them. I say you should come forward, even if you did something wrong … hopefully, this can get sorted out.”
