POLL: More Americans believe they'll have enough money at retirement

For the first time since 2007, more Americans say they'll retire comfortably, according to a brand new Gallup poll.

Half of Americans who haven't yet retired believe they'll have enough money after they stop working.

Prior to 2008, most Americans thought they'd retire comfortably, but after the recession those numbers dropped.

The 50 percent figure though is noticeably lower than the number of current retirees, 77 percent of whom say they live comfortably.

That figure's even higher than the number of current non-retirees who say they're happy with their income, whichs 69 percent.

Americans closest to the retirement age are the most likely to worry about their post-retirement income.
