A fight over $5 left a woman in Belle Glade with a broken passenger side window to her pink car, according to an arrest report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office.
Tracy Thomas, 43, was is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was released from the Palm Beach County jail on $6,000 bail on Friday afternoon.
On Friday morning, a woman says she noticed her friend Thomas was driving behind her and her boyfriend in Belle Glade. The two friends had fought over $5 earlier and Thomas was still upset about it.
When the woman yielded to a stop sign, she told deputies she watched Thomas get out of her car with a baseball bat, according to the report.
The next thing she knew, Thomas hit the passenger side window of the pink Nissan where the boyfriend sat and started yelling, “You’re hanging with the devil!”
The estimated cost to repair the window is around $300, according to the report.
Thomas does not appear to have any other arrests in Palm Beach County.
