A homeless woman in Massachusetts is safe and warm Monday thanks to the actions of a selfless police officer.
According to a Facebook post by the Seekonk Police Department, Officer Keith Perry discovered the homeless woman was hungry and had no place to stay ahead of a winter storm.
Officer Perry came to her aid, buying her groceries and setting her up with a hotel room ahead of the storm.
"Perry epitomizes the meaning of public service," wrote Seekonk police.
