A Florida woman was arrested on Thursday after troopers said she was driving drunk with her 5-month-old child in the back seat and kicked the trooper trying to arrest her.

Carlene Musselwhite, 22, hit a driver head-on and then side-swiped another at 9 p.m. Thursday night, the Orlando Sentinel reports. She was found by Florida Highway Patrol troopers when a nearby resident helped her out of the car and called 911.

According to troopers, Musselwhite “smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes” and said she was coming from a work event where she was drinking, but was not impaired.

According to the arrest report, she failed two field sobriety tests and was escorted to a patrol car where she “began screaming that she was on probation and could not go back to jail or she would be incarcerated for 5 years.” According to troopers, Musselwhite also said “she needed to breast feed her son and could not go to jail.”

Musselwhite faces charges of battery on a law enforcement officers, driving under the influence and two hit-and-run counts.
