An Uber driver shot and killed a person who tried to rob him on Sunday morning, police said.
Aventura Police said the incident happened after the Uber driver was cut off by a Dodge Caravan with two people inside, WSVN reports. The Caravan's passenger, who was armed with two guns, got out and tried to rob the Uber driver.
The Uber driver then shot and killed the minivan's passenger and the minivan's driver took off, according to WSVN.
Police said the Uber driver had a weapons permit for his gun. Investigators are still looking for the gray Dodge Caravan.
