A Florida teen got angry when her mother told her not to have any uninvited guests in their home, so the teen smashed a glass coffee pot filled with “steaming hot” coffee on her mother’s head, Riviera Beach police say.
Madalynn M. Grilo, of Riviera Beach, stood outside her home on 25th Street Thursday morning when police arrived, the police report states.
“It’s OK I’m going to jail,” she told officers, placing her hands behind her back. Police found inside the home Grilo’s 43-year-old mother with burns on her face and a bump on her head.
The mother told officers that she walked into the kitchen and saw Grilo with a male friend. The mother tried talking to Grilo about having men in the house without permission, she told police.
