A man who pretended he was an Uber driver was arrested Monday after attempting to kidnap a Tallahassee Community College student on Aug. 30, the Tallahassee Democrat reports.

According to the Florida State University Police Department, Antonio D. Warren, 35, drove up to a 19-year-old student  outside her university dorm. He told the girl he was a driver for Uber. At a certain point during the ride, the teen noticed Warren was not driving toward her destination, according to The Democrat.  Warren eventually exposed himself and demanded sex, the police report stated. When the girl tried to flee, Warren chased her and grabbed her arm and buttocks, The Democrat reports.

Investigators later found out Warren was not an Uber driver “and had no affiliation with the company,” according to the Tallahassee Democrat.  He was arrested and taken to Leon County Jail on charges of kidnapping with intent to commit a felony.
