Police are on the hunt for a man who yelled “bomb” aboard the L train in Brooklyn mere hours before a bomb exploded in Manhattan and injured 31 people Saturday.
The man boarded the train, which was bound for Manhattan, at the Bedford Avenue Station in Williamsburg at around 5:45 Saturday and yelled “bomb” before counting down from five and yelling “boom.”
A passenger used her phone to take a photo of the suspect, who is said to be between 30 to 40 years old and around 5 feet 10 inches tall.
Hours after the L train incident, two bombs, purportedly planted by Ahmad Rahami, went off, one in the Manhattan neighborhood of Chelsea which injured 31 people and one in Seaside Park, N.J., which injured no one.
