Late Tuesday afternoon, the certified Twitter account for TV host Dr. Phil McGraw tweeted a question to his million-plus followers:

"If a girl is drunk, is it OK to have sex with her? Reply yes or no to @drphil #teensaccused"

Reaction was swift on Twitter and Dr. Phil's account deleted the tweet without comment.

It's not known to what extent Dr. Phil actually controls his brand's Twitter account, but it's authenticated under his name.
