Seven people were injured early Friday in a shooting at a Texas nightclub, authorities said.
Amarillo police said they responded to a 2:45 a.m. call at the Hogg Penn after-hours club in Amarillo, KVII reported.
Police said they found a 41-year-old woman with a gunshot wound in her upper body, KFDA reported. The woman was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, the television station reported.
Police said six other people -- three men and three women -- were injured and taken to area hospitals in private vehicles, the television station reported.
According to police, the ages of the four women who were shot are 41, 19, 22 and 35, KVII reported. The men who were shot are 27, 34 and 40, the television station reported.
The case remains under investigation, police said.
