An Ohio meteorologist is facing felony charges after authorities said they caught him with images of child pornography.

Mike Davis, the chief meteorologist at WBNS-TV and a station employee for 31 years, has been charged with pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a second-degree felony, according to the station, after his arrest Aug. 5.

Agents with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force searched Davis' home Thursday morningfor electronic devices and they seized his personal laptop from the station, WBNS reported.

It's unclear how many images authorities may have recovered from Davis' devices.

His arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 6.

The station is not commenting on the arrest or charges.
