Someone tried to break into a Tulsa Walmart closed for nearly three months and mired in controversy.
Last week, police said a man broke into the store, one of four closed nationally for plumbing problems, but now FOX23 has learned what else is going on inside it.
In the nearly 7-minute long video, two Tulsa police officers explain the truth behind the Jade Helm rumors and talk about when the location is expected to reopen.
Walmart officials said the store was closed in April, along with four other stores across the nation, to deal with plumbing issues. Rumors that the real reason the store was closed have run rampant in the months since, with people even claiming that the store is a part of a government operation.
Officers Billy Burson and Daryl Ross appeared in the video shot by Brian Moore and spilled the secrets of what is really going on inside - construction.
Contractors said they are trying to replace two miles of plumbing before Black Friday. There is a permit at the site filed with the City of Tulsa on June 5.
