An officer for the Kilgore Police Department, responding to a noise complaint, quickly became the life of the party Saturday night, KLTV reported.

The party was for a woman's 22nd birthday. After telling the revelers to keep the noise down as the party continued past midnight, Officer Besser -- whose first name was not released by the department -- saw a mechanical bull and could not resist taking a ride, Kilgore Police Department officials wrote in a Facebook post.

"It wouldn’t be a memorable birthday celebration without KPD showing our bull riding skills. We think Officer Besser may have some experience at this?" according to the Facebook post, which included a video of the officer riding the bull.
