North Carolina waitress helps mom have quiet dinner, feeds woman’s toddler at Olive Garden

Mom Thanks Olive Garden Server For Act of Kindness

A waitress at a Greensboro, North Carolina, Olive Garden is getting praise after refusing a customer’s request to pack her meal up and leave the restaurant just because the woman’s daughter wasn’t behaving.

Instead of making their sit-down dinner to go Monday night, Nianna Rudder, sat down herself and fed Harlynn some ice cream so Courtney Pedigo could eat in peace as her daughter enjoyed her treat, WGHP reported.

"She's a kid. They cry. They fuss. They want to run around. There's no reason for you to have to go home because she's being fussy. She's a baby. That's what babies do," Rudder told WGHP.

Rudder told the television station that she hopes if she had a child, someone would show her the same kindness.
