North Carolina teacher reportedly makes threat toward VP Pence
A North Carolina teacher is being investigated for threatening comments he reportedly made about Vice President Mike Pence.
Officials with Union County Public Schools told Channel 9 the teacher works at Cuthbertson High School.
The Union County Sheriff's Office said the comment was referred to the Secret Service.
"Union County Public Schools is aware of the allegation of inappropriate comments made by a Cuthbertson High School teacher," school officials said in a statement. "District administrators are taking this allegation seriously and an investigation is being conducted. This is a personnel matter and information related to this alleged incident is protected by state law."
