Newt Gingrich endorses Trump in Facebook post

Wednesday evening, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich endorsed Donald Trump in a Facebook post.
"Tonight I officially endorsed Donald J. Trump for president. I am going to work very hard for the Republican nominee and hope you will join me in supporting him."
The post included video of an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity.
Gingrich has shown interest in the possibility of serving as Trump's running mate, according to Reuters.
