Newly drafted NFL player adopts shelter dog, but there's a twist

A new member of the Baltimore Ravens may have just gained some new fans, dog lovers.

Offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley visited a Baltimore animal shelter and asked to adopt a dog.

But it was not just any dog Stanley and his girlfriend were looking for. They asked the staff for one that was "maybe not-so-adoptable," WJZ reported.

Stanley walked out with Winter, a 6-year-old pup who had been found on a vacant property, BARCS posted on its Facebook page.

The shelter added, "Once a discarded pup, now the doggy-daughter to a Raven."
