A naked man who admitted to being high on LSD crashed through a Seattle home and began reciting scripture.
Seattle police said a family was asleep inside their home in the 400 block of Lake Washington Boulevard East in the Denny-Blaine neighborhood shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday when they heard someone crash through their front door and then start to loudly recite scripture.
A woman inside called 911 as her husband armed himself with a baseball bat. His wife and two young children remained on the upper floor of the house.
As officers arrived, they saw a naked man walking down the street, talking to himself.
When the man spotted the officers, he began running along Lake Washington Boulevard, but two officers were able to catch up with him and take him into custody.
After officers arrested the 20-year-old man on burglary charges, he admitted he had taken LSD before the incident and was taken to Harborview Medical Center, according to police.
Officers later booked the man into the King County Jail.
