These parents should have no trouble getting their kid to open a book when he finally learns to read. This baby clearly loves literature so much, he's miserable without it.
A video uploaded to YouTube by user leesedanielle shows the parents reading to their son, who is wearing a "The snuggle is real" shirt. He seems to enjoy storytime until they say "the end" and close the book. That's when the waterworks begin.
