One of Southern California's main arteries is closed after flash flooding and mudslides bogged down motorists.
After a year of drought, 4 to 6 inches of rain fell in Antelope Valley Thursday.
Mudslides trapped vehicles on Interstate 5. The highway remained closed on Friday, AccuWeather reported.
Rain is expected to continue through Friday.
