A Minnesota mom made a basketball shot of a lifetime.
Angela Ramey's 9-year-old daughter Grace won a school fundraiser. Grace raised the most money for a local food pantry.
The prize was a half a year of tuition to her school Bethany Academy, but she had to make a half-court shot to cash in, KARE reported.
First two shots made by mom and daughter missed. But the third was the one with the magic.
Angela told KARE that she looked at the ball, then the ground, dribbled once, and closed her eyes. She then lobbed it into the air, came up short, then bounced right into the basket.
Angela said she played basketball in school, back in fifth and sixth grade. She considers herself "not sports inclined."
Bethany Academy collected more than 40,000 meals in its food drive this year.
