The Blackzilians' Tuesday training session at JACO Hybrid Training Center in Boca Raton, Florida, was subdued as one of their members, Jordan Parsons, was lying in a coma at Delray Medical Center after being struck by a silver Range Rover early Sunday.

“Unfortunately, life continues for everybody, and this is all we know,” Sean Soriano, 24, said. “This kind of brought us together, so this is the place we want to be. This is the place Jordan would want to be.”

On Tuesday, Parsons’ condition took a turn for the worse. His full right leg has been amputated and he is being checked for brain activity, according to multiple members of the Blackzilians. Soriano said the team was asked not to see Parsons after they visited Monday.

“Mentally, he’s one of the toughest people I know,” Soriano said. “I feel like he’s still going to get through this just because how, mentally, he’s tough.”

Police are looking for the Range Rover that hit Parsons, 25, then fled, leaving him lying in the roadway, police spokeswoman Dani Moschella said. It should have damage to the driver's side headlight and bumper area, and is believed to have been from model years 2012 or 2013, police say. In addition, the driver's side mirror is missing.

It's unclear at this stage who had right of way, Moschella said. Investigators say Parsons was wearing headphones when he was hit and may not have heard the vehicle approach. Anyone with information about the wreck is asked to call Officer Dan Cramer at 561-243-7800 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
