Police had said they were still looking for that girl following her mother's Saturday arrest in Millington, Tenn., WHBQ reported.
Officers believed that 4-year-old Alyssa Lee was in the company of Christine Rebecca Flick, 31, the child's non-custodial mother. Flick was arrested Saturday in Millington, Tenn., on a warrant for theft issued by Trumann, Ark., police.
The child was not with Flick when she was arrested, WHBQ reported.
Jonesboro police sought to interview Flick Monday to gain information about the child's whereabouts. However, Flick, who waived extradition and was returned to Trumann Monday, declined to cooperate with law enforcement.
Detective Sgt. Cassie Brandon said the child's father was granted temporary custody of Alyssa Lee by a Craighead County court in July of 2014, but he had been unable to locate either the child or her mother.
