A man suspected in the death of an Anthony, Florida, woman has been found in Monroe County, deputies said.
Deputies said Deangelo Clark, 30, was found in the Florida Keys on Wednesday morning and airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center in Miami with burns to his arms in a series of events that began with a burglary call.
Officials said they received a burglary call at 10 a.m. at a home near the town of Layton. Deputies said they received high quality video of the Clark and the car. At the time, deputies did not know they were looking for Clark, according to a report.
Deputies said shortly after a be on the lookout was issued, another 911 call came in stating that a man was screaming that his car blew up and that he was burned.
Moments after, a third 911 call came in about a fire that was across from where the man was burned, according to deputies. A car caught on fire and stilted the home on fire as well, deputies said.
Marion County officials said the same vehicle was being driven by Clark. Deputies said they identified the man as both the burglary suspect and Clark.
Clark is also accused of taking Kiara Alleyne’s 1-year-old daughter and leaving Alleyne’s body inside a Marion County home.
Deputies said the family of Alleyne, 20, called the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday morning because they were concerned for her safety. When deputies arrived at the home on Northeast 78th Lane, Alleyne was found dead inside.
Alleyne’s daughter was not in the home, and deputies said they believe Clark fled the scene with her. An Amber Alert was issued for the child early Wednesday morning before she was found safe at a family member’s home.
Deputies said Clark had made statements that he planned to take his own life, as well as Alleyne’s.
Officials said Clark could face more charges out of Monroe County pending the fire marshal's investigation.
