Video has surfaced on the Internet showing a Memphis Police Department officer fighting with an 18-year-old on Sunday evening.
MPD told FOX13 the teen did not want to be taken to jail and when the officer tried putting handcuffs on the teen, he broke free and a fight insinuated between them around 6 p.m.
The teen then fought with officer with one of the handcuffs on his wrist.
According to MPD, this case is under investigation and both the officer and suspect were taken to Regional One.
The identities of the officer and suspect have not been released yet.
