A small tree planted in memory of Michael Brown was cut in half and a stone memorial was removed less than 24 hours after it was dedicated.
Brown, an 18-year-old unarmed black man, was shot and killed by a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo., last August.
The Black Caucus of the American Library Association dedicated the tree on Saturday, and the vandalism was discovered Sunday.
The memorial was located along a walking trail at a park.
Police say they don't have any suspects. Scroll down to watch the video report. (Source: KMOV)
