"As part of our journey to build a better McDonald's, our franchisees have more flexibility than before to offer new menu items like breakfast bowls, Gilroy garlic fries and yes, the Dr. Pepper Float," Terri Hickey, a McDonald's spokeswoman, told Business Insider.

The McFloat, popular at McDonald's in India, the Philippines, Indonesia and elsewhere, is made with McDonald's soft serve ice cream and Dr. Pepper, a spokesperson told Fortune June 16.

But don't get too excited. The chain is bringing the sweet treat only to select locations in New York and Seattle.

Customers in those in cities will be able to enjoy the treat in a medium size for  $1.99.

Those not in Seattle or New York can hack the treat by ordering a vanilla cone and a small Dr. Pepper for a similar price.
