Todd Arredondo saw a picture on Facebook of a group of kids splashing and playing in a makeshift pool in the bed of a pickup truck. Some people on social media started posting negative comments about the photo, making Arredondo upset, Inside Edition reports.
The kind-hearted man tracked the family down and hand-delivered an inflatable pool to their home, so they had a proper place to cool down in the Texas heat.
“It was truly rewarding to see their smiles,” Arredondo said.
According to Inside Edition, their heartwarming graciousness inspired him to deliver pools to even more families in his area. He started a GoFundMe page to raise money for his nonprofit Pools for Kids.
So far, he has bought more than 50 pools and delivered them to more than 24 families.
He hopes the gesture helps children learn about generosity and the joy of giving.
