A shocking video of a rodent running around a Texas Whataburger has gone viral.
The incident happened on Saturday.
Brushwan Lewis was driving home after the University of Texas vs. Louisiana Tech football game. He stopped for some food at the Whataburger in Bastrop, Texas, and as he was eating his fries, his cousin told him there was a rodent running around the restaurant, KVUE reported.
That's when Lewis pulled out his phone and started recording the now-viral video.

The mouse ran around the restaurant, eventually jumping into the deep fryer, according to KVUE.
Some patrons can be heard on the video saying "Deep-fried rat," KPRC reported.
Once that happened, store employees started issuing refunds to the patrons, according to KPRC.
Whataburger addressed the incident on Lewis' post, thanking him for alerting the company as to what happened. Officials said the restaurant was closed and they notified pest control. They also said the entire location was cleaned and sanitized, according to KVUE.
The restaurant was reopened Sunday morning, employees told the Austin American-Statesman.
