A Minnesota poker player has taken home the top prize after a mistake landed him in the wrong tournament.
Christian Pham won a no-limit, duce-to-seven draw lowball game, and it was his first time playing.
He told The Associated Press that he intended to sign up for a no-limit Texas Hold'em, but put himself at the wrong list.
The goal - to have the lowest poker hand, no straights, no flushes and the lowest pair wins.
It was one of 68 games being offered during the World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, AP reported.
In the end, Pham took home $81,314 and the gold bracelet. AP said the bracelet is the tournament's equivalent of a Super Bowl ring.
