We live in an era where creative marriage proposals frequently go viral, but a Michigan man has taken it to new heights.
According to WNEM TV5, Devin Huber popped the question to his girlfriend of three years, Lisa Marshall, during a sightseeing flight over mid-Michigan.
But it wasn't your average mid-air marriage request: As the plane flew over Huber's family farm, he pointed out a message carved into a field below: "MARRY ME."
She said yes, by the way.
It worked out better than other recent dramatic examples, such as the Houston man who stopped traffic (literally) to propose and was charged with obstructing a highway, or the fellow in California who was arrested for drug possession when he was rescued after asking for his girlfriend's hand in marriage on the edge of a cliff.
