Kevin Blandford took an incredible trip to Puerto Rico last month, but unfortunately it was alone. The 34-year-old won the getaway for "extraordinary service" at his job, but the vacation was for one person only.
Sad to be without his wife and baby daughter, the trip was a bit of a downer. Blandford documented the whole thing, taking photos of himself miserable in a variety of beautiful places.
But after he posted the hilarious pictures to Imgur, they gained international attention. According to Buzzfeed, his post even caught the eye of a Puerto Rican advertising agency and the hotel where he stayed.
The two companies saw a publicity opportunity and decided to pay for a second trip for Blandford, but this time he got to bring his family.
He was even provided with a photographer who snapped him with his wife and daughter as they recreated some of his past miserable moments.
