A police citation is issued to a Colorado man for taking his computer to an alley, pulling out a gun and shooting it eight times.

Lt. Jeff Strossner says 37-year-old Lucas Hinch "got tired of fighting with his computer for the last several months." Strossner continued, "so he took it out in the back alley and shot it."

Strossner told the Colorado Springs Gazette Hinch accepted his citation without a problem and said he didn't realize he was breaking the law. A police report states the shots were on target, "effectively disabling it."

The penalty for the citation will be up to a judge.
