A man escaped death Saturday after he crashed his car while driving along Malibu Canyon Road in Los Angeles, California, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
The driver lost control of his SUV, which landed dangling over a cliff.
"(He) nearly went over the side of the cliff," said Deputy Kelvin Moody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man survived the car crash, but moments after crawling out of his vehicle, he was struck by a bus.
“The driver became disorientated. He exited the vehicle and was struck by a passing tour bus," Moody said.
According to Moody, the man, who was conscious and breathing, was treated on-site by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol before being taken to a hospital for treatment.
