A Wisconsin man is facing child abuse and drug charges after police say he beat his daughter because she didn't get enough candy while trick-or-treating.
According to Milwaukee's WISN, the Racine girl fled to her grandmother's house Sunday after her father allegedly hit her several times with a clothes hanger after complaining about the lack of Halloween candy.

The grandmother said the 33-year-old man, whose name was not reported to protect the daughter's identity, had been beating the girl and her sister for the past year, police said. The sister also claimed that the man had struck her with a hanger, according to investigators.
When police arrested the man, they said he had 3.5 grams of cocaine. If convicted, he could face a 15-year prison sentence.
