An Ohio man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a charge of animal cruelty in Clark County Municipal Court.
Dustin M. Jackson, 28, of New Carlisle, was arrested on a charge accusing him of throwing a small dog out of a second-story window, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
Neighbors said the Chihuahua has been found and had some physical injuries, but the extent of the injuries are unclear. Photos of the dog show cuts and scratches on its legs and side.
Jackson said the dog had just bitten him and ran into the window causing it to break, according to court documents.
