Lucas Oil is a nationally recognized company because the stadium where the Indianapolis Colts play bears the company’s name. According to online reports, Lucas Oil generates over $150 million in annual revenue.
That’s why a Facebook post by Lucas Oil co-founder Charlotte Lucas is drawing so much controversy.
While the post has since been deleted, Lucas admitted to a local media outlet that she did write the post.
In the post, Lucas says she’s “sick and tired of minorities running our country.” She questions if “everyone is so scared that they can’t fight back” to fix what’s wrong with America.
Lucas has since released a public apology, stating that her comments did not reflect her personal views but were based upon her frustration over an out-of-balance government.
