Lockdown lifted following earlier report of gunshot at Walter Reed Medical Center

Earlier, police investigated reports of a gunshot at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Montgomery County police spokeswoman Natasha Plotnikov says a 911 caller reported hearing one shot inside Building 1, the original hospital on the campus in Bethesda, on Monday morning.
Social media posts indicate that the hospital was in a "Code White." According to an older Walter Reed Medical Center Facebook post, Code White is used to notify personnel of an active shooter and to shelter-in-place.
