The young basketball player who inspired so many during her cancer battle is continuing to spread her message, even after her death.
Hill, 19, died April 10 from a rare form of brain cancer. She helped raise over $1 million for cancer research.
Hundreds of balloons were launched on Wednesday as part of the “Launch for Lauren” campaign. The balloons were set free at 7:22 p.m., as 22 was Hill’s jersey number.

The launch was designed to help spread awareness and encourage fundraising for cancer research.

On Friday, Angela Whitmore posted to the Launch for Lauren Facebook page that she had found a balloon in a tree on her property.

I found a balloon at my house yesterday. It was stuck to a tree. The card said to let you know where I found it.  Sorry to hear about Lauren.
