Larry King divorcing 7th wife after 22 years of marriage

Journalist Larry King is divorcing for the eighth time, seeking separation from his wife of 22 years, Shawn King. His lawyer confirmed the news to People.

The Associated Press reported that the filing was made Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The Blast reported that, according to divorce documents, the date of separation is listed as June 6, 2019.

The 85-year-old had been plagued by health issues for years, and there were rumors of infidelity in the marriage on Shawn King's part, which she has denied.

In 2010, they both filed for divorce, but later reconciled. They married on Sept. 5, 1997.

The two share adult sons, Chance, 20, and Cannon, 19.

Although this is his eighth divorce, Shawn King, 59, is his seventh wife. He married and divorced Alene Akins twice.
