It may not be a good idea to invite excited fans on stage during a performance.

Lady Gaga brought up a man during her Las Vegas residency show "Enigma," Thursday night, Entertainment Tonight reported.

CNN identified the man by his first name, Jack.

At one point, she hopped on him, wrapping her legs around his waist as she sang.

But he was too close to the edge of the stage, and both the multiplatinum singer/songwriter and the man fell into the crowd, landing on the floor below, with him on top of her.

As the saying goes, the show must go on, and Lady Gaga hopped right back up with the help of security guards, singing and dancing as if nothing had happened, CNN reported.
